Did you know you can use Vaula directly through an AI assistant?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, you can ask AI to show your open deals, find a customer’s contact details or log a phone call in Vaula. You don’t need to open your CRM for every task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No programming skills are required to set up the connection, as long as your AI service supports custom MCP connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you get started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You’ll need a Vaula user account and an AI service that allows you to add custom connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ll also need your company’s Vaula MCP address. It follows this format:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Replace XXXXX<\/mark><\/strong> with your company’s Vaula identifier. For example: https:\/\/YOURCOMPANY<\/mark>.vaula.pro\/api\/mcp<\/a><\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copy your MCP address. You’ll need it in the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose your AI service below and follow the instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connect Vaula to Claude<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open Claude<\/a><\/strong> and sign in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to Customize \u2192 Connectors<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click Add<\/strong>, select Custom<\/strong>, then Web<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Enter Vaula CRM<\/strong> as the connection name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Paste your company’s Vaula MCP address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Click Continue<\/strong> and follow the sign-in instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Sign in to Vaula and authorize the connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Open a Claude conversation and check the Connectors<\/strong> section in the +<\/strong> menu to make sure Vaula is enabled.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You’re all set! You can now ask Claude to retrieve information from Vaula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Claude also supports custom MCP connections on its free plan, although some features and connection limits may vary depending on your subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Connect Vaula to ChatGPT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The availability of MCP connections in ChatGPT depends on your subscription and your organization’s settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Open ChatGPT<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Go to Settings \u2192 Apps<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. If Developer mode<\/strong> is available, enable it. On a business account, this may require approval from your administrator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Select Create app<\/strong>, or the equivalent option for creating a new app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Enter Vaula CRM<\/strong> as the name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Add your company’s Vaula MCP address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Select the required authentication method and sign in to Vaula.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Check that ChatGPT detects Vaula’s tools and complete the setup.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    9. Enable Vaula in your ChatGPT conversation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Note:<\/strong> Not all ChatGPT plans support custom MCP connections. Creating and modifying CRM records may require a supported business or organization plan. If you can’t find the settings mentioned above, check which features are included in your subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Connect Vaula to Grok<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. Open Grok Connectors<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Select New Connector<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Select Custom<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Enter Vaula CRM<\/strong> as the name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Paste your company’s Vaula MCP address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Sign in to Vaula and authorize the connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. Make sure Vaula’s tools are visible in Grok.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        You’re all set! You can now try using Vaula in a Grok conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        If you’re using Grok through a company-managed account, your administrator may need to allow custom connections first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Connect Vaula to Microsoft Copilot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        MConnecting Vaula to Microsoft Copilot is done through Copilot Studio. This option is particularly useful for businesses building their own AI agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Open Copilot Studio<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Create a new agent or open an existing one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Go to Tools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Select Add a tool \u2192 New tool \u2192 Model Context Protocol<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Enter Vaula CRM<\/strong> as the connection name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. Add a description, such as Retrieves and updates customer, deal and task information in Vaula CRM.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. Paste your company’s Vaula MCP address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        8. Select OAuth 2.0<\/strong> as the authentication method and Dynamic discovery<\/strong>, if available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        9. Create the connection and sign in to Vaula.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        10. Add Vaula’s tools to your agent and test the connection.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Setting up Copilot Studio may require assistance from your company’s IT administrator. The connection also depends on compatibility between Microsoft’s and Vaula’s authentication settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Test your Vaula connection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Once you’ve connected Vaula to your AI service, start with a simple request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Try this first:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          “Show me my open tasks in Vaula.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          If the AI assistant retrieves the correct tasks, the connection is working for reading information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          You can also try these requests:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Customer information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          “Find Example Company in Vaula and show me its contacts.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Sales pipeline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          “Show me all my open deals and their current pipeline stages.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Creating a new lead<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          “Create a new lead for Example Company in Vaula.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Logging a phone call<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          “Log a call in Vaula saying that I spoke with Matt Smith today and we agreed to schedule a meeting next week.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Creating and updating records requires your AI service to support these actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
